My Background
I've loved taking pictures since my parents gave me a Polaroid for Christmas as a girl of 11. My love of photos grew and I bought my first 35mm Canon at the age of 21. Pushing myself to try shooting anything without limits allowed me to evolve into an award winning photographer. I have also learned design and marketing skills that go hand in hand with my photography.
I am inspired by the love I have for my home at 9500 feet in the magical Colorado mountains. I have photographed many different subjects, scenes, and moments all over the United States.

Photography as Communication
I am surrounded every day by natural beauty, interesting people and places.
I use my camera to document what I see and experience then print images with a focus on the magical moments I find in my daily life.
I was blessed to be presented an award by Colorado Photographer John Fielder at the Gilpin Arts Gallery in Central City in 2017.
My billboard design for The Gilpin Historical Society will be visible on the Central City Parkway soon, just before entering the gaming district.
